i’m falling in love with the scenting traditions of the hausa people of nigeria. your desire for delicately handcrafting beautiful aromatics has stolen my heart <3
from mother nature you gather the most fragrant woods from forests and jungles, carve and engulf them in honey dews. a select few mixed with roasted seashells from african oceans. they bathe the wood in perfumes and in there scented hibernation they make there way to hot burning coal. the smoke reveals their entirety, layers of heaven on earth
