Identity Mastering is a special part of my life. It is an opportunity to hear new music, to help get projects out into the world, to support creative communities built upon sound, and to share part of the creative process. I am grateful I get to do what I do everyday and 2025 will be about hard work and continuing to assist artists with getting the best sonic results. My duo @estesombelo has been working on new material: a new EP being released in a few weeks as well as a full length vinyl we are finalizing. This heavy shoegaze/ambient project is something I have been working in on and off since 2006 with my great friend Joel. I'm excited to get this new material out there and to begin performing live very soon. Check it out and keep an eye on updates!

I joined @shrineburnerband last October and it's been a blast! We're heading into the studio with @mattygold at the very top of May to record a bunch of new songs. Super sick shit: mostly longform tunes, dynamic, explorative, catchy, and heavy as nails. I'm grateful to Peter and CJ for asking me to contribute to this project, and pumped to get these songs out this summer!!!
Been enjoying spring break! Working on some mastering projects today, looks like a couple more came in for tomorrow. Some RE9, maybe a bike ride, recording on Friday most the day with the Estesombelo stuff, all kinda stuff! If you have a project that needs mastering, hit me up!!!

New amp setup! I love these Avatar 2x12 cabinets and the @schroederhifi speakers are the absolute best!!! One cab is two 12 inch Schroeders, the other is one 12 inch Schroeder and a Classic Lead 80. Pumped to start booking gigs and making noise
Been writing a new Estesombelo album since September - an ambient project I've done on and off since like 2007. We recorded final demos today, and we'll be recording the album with @mattygold in early April. I'm really into these new pieces and pumped to get em out there. Here's to delay and reverbs and cello bows 🍻
I'm pumped to try out the new dome tweeter from @mesanovicmics ! The ribbon tweeters have been fantastic these last few years but I'm curious to see what new stuff Deni has been working on.
