Because of the times, I did a Dogtator litho print for a show with @idemparis at @isetan_the_space , opening April 9th in Tokyo. Working at Idem is very humbling given the legacy and incredible history of the place and drawing on the stones is a great challenge (more technical than I can ever comprehend…). S’essayer à la lithographie, c’était accepter une forme d’exigence. Un médium où chaque geste engage, où rien ne se corrige, où la justesse se construit avec patience. Je suis retourné au Musée d’Orsay, au contact de ces œuvres qui continuent de faire autorité. Puis j’ai travaillé à l’atelier Idem Paris, dans un cadre où la technique impose sa rigueur. À partir d’une figure connue, j’ai cherché une autre lecture. Quelque chose qui se situe entre héritage et modernité. De ce travail, Salomé est née. NEW ARTIST BOOK BOX with HANNA ROCHEREAU @hanna.rochereau After Annette Messager (2023), Xavier Veilhan (2024), and Jean-Philippe Delhomme (2025), Hanna Rochereau is the fourth artist invited for the Artist Book Box. Hanna Rochereau’s painting and installation practice is rooted in an observation of the spaces, tactics and gestures associated with the commodification of desire. Focusing on staging, display, storage, and packaging, she observes how temptation, frustration, and absence circulate and materialize. The 7L team discovered her work through the programme ‘Hauser & Wirth invite(s)’ at their Parisian gallery a year ago.
