On May 1, Ideas Work hosted a zine launch at Granby Winter Garden. Space, Property, Access zine picked up reflections from 2025’s symposium of the same name in Runcorn.
Granby Winter Garden was taken over for the day, offering opportunities to young start-up social traders. During the day Lilly Patricija Jankaus offered a One Day exhibition making workshop, with the work participants made exhibited during the evening, where Keira Johnston of Starbaked Goods served canapes, DJ Mia Mai of Studio Picnic provided music, and the vivid pink and green zine (and matching mock and cocktails!) - designed by Phoebe Thomas, together acted as a backdrop to those gathered to engage in conversations about space, sparked by both zine and venue.
A lovely day / evening in a lovely venue. Thanks to all who contributed and came along.

Artist Lilly Patricija Jankaus leads this one-day creative gathering at Granby Winter Garden – open to everyone, whatever your age, background, or experience. Come along to make something, share ideas, or simply enjoy the space. Materials are free, and so is attendance.
Whatever you create on the day, you're invited to write a short caption and exhibit it that evening – no pressure, just the option.
The evening also marks the launch of Space, Property, Access – a zine bringing together voices from last August's symposium, which we staged with Ideas Work in Runcorn. It includes texts by Phoebe T. Verity and Emma Rushton, interviews with STOs on property and space and a hand riso-print cover by Phoebe.
Canapés by new-to-the-scene baker Keira Johnston during the evening, and good company guaranteed.
