My new novel is here! After working on it for four years. An idea i had since 2013. It’s called “The Invisible Temple - a vision of Hilma af Klint” and is inspired by real events. It’s a novel about how hard it is to be an artist and a human… and more specifically, Hilma af Klint. Out in Swedish in March 2025 ⭐️
Nu är den klar! Boken jag jobbat med nu i fyra år…. Och haft idén till sedan 2013.

Den heter ”Det osynliga templet- En vision om Hilma af Klint”. Och den handlar om hur svårt det är att vara människa… och mer specifikt, hur svårt det är att vara Hilma af Klint. Kommer på Natur o Kultur i mars 2025!

Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of hosting a presentation by the wonderful writer @idatheren on the life and work of Hilma af Klint at the gallery.
On the occasion of the talk, we presented an exclusive selection of works by @annapajak , whose practice draws inspiration from Hilma af Klint’s universe, particularly through themes of spirituality, symmetry, birth and death, and the invisible connections between them.
It was an inspiring moment, filled with curiosity, exchange, and creativity. And only the beginning of this kind of conversation at the gallery.

As Hilma af Klint takes center stage in Paris this season, Börjesson Perotti is pleased to welcome Swedish novelist Ida Therén for a talk dedicated to the life, ideas, and legacy of the artist.
Therén is the author of The Invisible Temple, a novel inspired by Hilma af Klint’s visionary universe, exploring the intersections of art, spirituality, mysticism, and hidden histories.
The invitation features a work by Anna Pajak, whose practice resonates with the symbolic and spiritual dimensions of Hilma af Klint’s work. On the occasion of the talk, Börjesson Perotti will present an exclusive selection of works by the artist.

Fick idén medan jag gjorde research för romanen, som att staden, framför allt det begynnande, nyss byggda Östermalm kring sekelskiftet var en egen person, en levande varelse i boken….
Och i vintras blev idén verklighet, först i samarbete med Elisabet Kedziora för några vandringar under Kulturnatten.

Join us for an evening with Swedish novelist @idatheren , who will speak about the life and work of Hilma af Klint, in connection with her novel The Invisible Temple. A book that reimagines the inner world of one of modern art’s most enigmatic pioneers, weaving together art, spirituality, and hidden histories.

Exhibition: Heroines of my Nordic Journey
May ends with the annual Portes Ouvertes Belleville. Chez nous, the French artist Héloïse Brillet will show work from her travels in the Nordic countries, inspired by the novel The Women I Think About at Night by Mia Kankimäki.

Hur blev Hilma af Klint en av Sveriges mest banbrytande konstnärer? Författaren Ida Therén kommer till Almedalsbiblioteket och berättar om konstnärens fascinerande liv och arbetet bakom romanen Det osynliga templet.

I Det osynliga templet – en vision om Hilma af Klint visar författaren Ida Therén nya perspektiv av konstnären Hilma af Klint. Romanen bygger på verkliga händelser och fyra års research. Under samtalet berättar Ida mer om Hilma af Klint, men även om skrivandet och processen för efterforskningarna som hon gjorde för sitt arbete.
Efter föredraget finns Ida tillgänglig för frågor, bokförsäljning och boksignering.
Ida Therén är författare och kulturjournalist, född och uppvuxen i Värnamo men numera bosatt i Stockholm. Hon debuterade 2020 med den kritikerrosade romanen ”Att omfamna ett vattenfall” (Natur & Kultur) . I mars 2025 kom romanen ”Det osynliga templet – en vision om Hilma af Klint” (Natur & Kultur) som förutom fina recensioner belönades med priset ”Årets roman” av Primas litteraturpris.
