In collaboration with CBC, we are excited to present “Heartline” (2026), a short documentary.
“Hockey player Jacob LeGuerrier is sidelined by viral myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, for years before making his comeback and effecting change along the way.”
It was an amazing honour working with CBC’s Creator Network division to tell Jacob’s story. The obstacles he’s overcome and the contributions he’s making to cardiovascular research through his @heartlineapparel initiative should serve as an inspiration to all of us!

The importance of positioning light in photography is essential, influencing everything from the subject to the scene. This assignment takes images of the same content and contrasts them with polarizing light sources.
I chose to take on this project at Carleton University in Ottawa on a normal class evening. Provided are six images taken at dusk and just before it, paired with a double exposures of the same content.
I feel like these images capture the cold and calm of the campus that evening. I'd love to know what you think of these images in the comments 💚
