Cultural Bytes is back with a new multicultural kids event! This time we get our hands dirty and travel to Mexica lands! In this interactive clay exploration workshop, children and their parents will learn the origin of Mexica suns and they will create their own to take home! Cultural Bytes continues their multilingual journey across the globe with a fun hands-on workshop inspired by El Baile de los Cabezones, a joyful exploration through movement and tradition. Through artmaking and play, children and their parents will discover and celebrate traditions from Guatemala. During this interactive gathering, children will learn about this traditional dance while creating their own zine and playing a collaborative game designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and cultural connection. All participants will take home their zines and an online game!
