Emily Harrop, one of our trustees, is currently recovering from a benign brain tumour and has already completed over 500 miles as part of Miles for Millions. Her journey is inspiring — but this movement isn’t about how far you go. It’s about taking part. “Being part of Miles for Millions has felt deeply meaningful. It has allowed me to connect my personal recovery with my commitment to children’s palliative care, and to contribute in a small way to a global movement supporting children and families.” Whether it’s 5 miles or 500, every step helps raise vital funds and awareness to improve care for children with life-limiting conditions worldwide. Start your own challenge: • Set your miles — big or small • Choose a fundraising target or simply make a donation • Walk, run or cycle your way Join the movement. Go the distance for children’s palliative care. 👉 / #MilesForMillions #ChildrensPalliativeCare #Fundraising #ICPCN #GoTheDistance

Hope, innovation, and dignity in childhood cancer care. 💙🎗️ Under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Public Health Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, CHANCE Association, led by Prof. Roula Farah, proudly concluded its national project on advancing pediatric pain, psycho-oncology, and palliative care. We were honored to welcome Prof. Julia Downing, Executive Director of the International Children’s Palliative Care Network (@icpcn ) whose powerful address on equity in children’s palliative care reminded us all: access to compassionate care is not a privilege, it’s a right. A special thank you to Foundation Charles Corm (@fondationcharlescorm ) for making this event possible. And heartfelt thank you to our incredible Psycho-Oncology team, whose relentless dedication made this entire project possible. 🙏 And a special moment that moved every heart in the room, our brave Talia Bou Saba, cancer survivor and living proof of resilience, presented symbolic colourful flowers to Minister Nassereddine, Prof. Farah and Prof. Downing. A reminder of exactly why we do this work. 🌟 The day also brought together 200+ physicians and specialists from hospitals across Lebanon for the 2nd Neonatal & Pediatric Palliative Care Symposium, a milestone moment for our field. Together, we’re building a future where no child suffers alone. 💙 @mophleb @nad.sabas @dr.roula.farah #ChildhoodCancerCare #PalliativeCare #PsychoOncology #CHANCEAssociation #EveryChildMatters

Today, the International Children’s Palliative Care Network joins the global health community in recognising Universal Health Coverage Day — a reminder that everyone, everywhere should have access to quality health care without financial hardship. On #UHCDay, we emphasise that every child has the right to quality health care — especially palliative care. Millions of children worldwide, and their families, still face barriers to accessing essential palliative care. Expanding universal access to CPC is a vital step in making quality health care a reality for every child. / #HealthForAll #ChildrensPalliativeCare #UHC2030
