Had the absolute treat of being on @fox10phoenix to talk about my film Bad Omen with all things VFX, Set Construction, and what is to come! Thanks to my amazing producer @tracer700 for setting this whole thing up as we are at @chandlerfilmfestival this week for our film which is in competition for Best Horror.
The audience reactions were great, and it is always special to watch this film in a packed theater.
This festival is absolutely amazing, and if you're in the Chandler area there are still a few days left with some more great films coming up. See you all soon at the Gala this Sunday.
Iโm still processing this. Last night, Bad Omen took home the award for Best of Fest at the City of Angels Film Festival. Iโm pretty sure this is the first award I have ever won in my life. Thank you @panavisionofficial and @cityofangelsfilmfestival for this grant and award!
When I started Bad Omen, I truly didn't know what I was doing. I thought, "Why not combine a period drama with full CG monsters?" If I had known how hard it would be - spending 3 months building sets by hand, casting actors through Facebook, and fighting the nightmare of period costuming - I might have been too scared to start.
But ignorance is bliss. Not knowing the "rules" allowed us to break them and create something new. This award is proof that sometimes you just have to jump in and figure it out as you go. Lets make something special again this next year!
Fantastic night at the Emmy Nomination Celebration with @emperoroflove ! One of the shows I worked on this last year, #TedLasso, was nominated for an Emmy, so we got to celebrate that. Amazing night and a great way to kick off this new year!

Found this from my archives! This was probably the first vfx shots I ever did! We spent the whole summer using MS paint to paint in the light sabers and lightning. Star Wars was my first love. And like so many people, was the reason I fell in love with making movies.
Created this live on my YouTube from modeling to comping. One of my favorite @pixar films! What should I make on stream next? I live the challenge of remaking some of my favorite movie scenes and characters and forcing myself to do this every week has been amazing for the last two years. I just hit 5k subscribers!
