Exactly **ONE WEEK** to graduation 🎓✨ One week to walking across a different kind of aisle, one much bigger than I ever imagined. And without a doubt, one of the biggest personal achievements of my life. Through tears, sacrifices, long nights, resilience, and unwavering faith, I didn’t just complete my PhD… I excelled through the process. Every award I’ve received over the years is a reflection of hard work, perseverance, and a constant desire to grow beyond academics, striving to lead, serve, and make impact along the way. God has truly been good. 🙏🏾 In just over a week, I’ve received **three different awards**, including one of the highest honors in the School of Public Health , the ‘Dean’s Graduate Scholar Award’, recognizing excellence in academics, leadership, and service. So grateful to the University of Maryland School of Public Health and the Graduate School for these recognitions. P.S. A colleague saw me at the award ceremony and joked, “You’re still collecting awards even though you defended last October and already graduated?”😂🤣 I just laughed and said, “Don’t worry, I’m done now, I’ve officially left the remaining awards for the rest of you!”* 🤭🤣 The countdown to the big day begins 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾🎓 #PhDLoading #GratefulHeart #UMDGrad DoctorLoading
