An Acquired Taste (Deluxe) out now!
I feel weird releasing a full project because all I end up thinking afterward is, “Is anyone listening?” or “Would anyone actually listen to all of it?” and “Would they even like it?” Worst of all, I think, “Is my style of music even good enough?”
I wrote An Acquired Taste because I love albums and full projects. I also made it because I wanted to see if I could do it. I wanted to create a full body of work, tell a story in my own way, and play around with my sound. And if no one liked it or listened to it, so be it, hence the title An Acquired Taste.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love for it to find its audience. I would love for people to listen to it top to bottom and connect with the songs and the lyrics.
I wrote several songs and cut it down to 9 tracks because I was worried no one would listen to the whole thing. But fuck it. I love the songs and I want to release them. Three new songs in the deluxe. Twelve tracks total.
This is from me to the void. I hope this album finds its audience.
