Oyo State 2022 Governance Retreat.
It was an outstanding moment of significance on the 29th of September, when my principal, His Excellency, Governor @seyi_amakinde acknowledged me with an award of Excellence at the Oyo State 2022 Governance Retreat that held at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture.
The award reads: “With the compliment of Governor Seyi Makinde in recognition of your service to Oyo State Government.”
Indeed, it is one good thing for an individual to work hard but it is a far better thing for that work to be well-noticed, hence, acknowledged and rewarded.
Immense thanks to His Excellency for the privilege to serve The Pacesetter State, working with and learning from Him.
This, however challenges as much as it charges me to continually add positive value and take Oyo state first in all my future engagements.
Indeed, History shall be fair to the Seyi-Makinde-Lead administration - (2019-2027).
AMERICAN CORNER, IBADAN
Yesterday, I had the singular honour and privilege to represent the Oyo State Government at the American Corner to commission the newly facelifted American Corner, Ibadan @american_corner_ibadan
The occasion was graced by the American Ambassador to Nigeria Amb. Mery Beth Leonard and the American Pianist Pauline Yang, and numerous prominent individuals from all walks of life.
I delivered a speech on behalf of the Oyo State Government @oyostategovt commending the activities of the American Corner and reassuring the establishment of our long-standing and far-reaching support for all that they do.
As usual, yours truly didn’t disappoint 😊

As a young graduate, entrepreneur and political enthusiast in 2016, I was looking for ways to be politically relevant, I did my due diligence and realized there was a philanthropist engineer in Ibadan called Engineer Seyi Makinde. All attempt to meet him proved abortive, then I took to my Twitter, I sent a DM to Engr Seyi Makinde, luckily he responded with “utmost humility”. Engr was that prosperous and promising Oyo state Governor then, remember?
We started communicating, and I seized the opportunity to air my opinion, as far back as 2016, I was futuristic enough to advise and make projections about his ambition.
In 2018, I met the Governor in person for the first time, he received me warmly and extended his arms of discussion. His physical disposition never disappointed my preconceived notion.
As projected, Engr Seyi Makinde became the Governor of Oyo State in 2019 and I am today his Special Assistant on Youths and Sports.
Dear Governor @seyi_amakinde , the joy of the Good People of Oyo state, the Story Changer, the Pride of the Youths, the God Sent Messiah (GSM)- May your days be long and reign be eternal (Ameen)!
