Over ten years it’s impossible to choose a few photos to represent the memories that I have of this event. So many people have passed through Tianmenshan, both pilots and support staff and organizers, but all the memories remain vivid and clear. I had no idea what Wingsuit flying was back in 2012 until Red Bull told me to head from Hong Kong where I was happily idling away the days in the autumn sun to Zhangjiajie where I spent the first few days on a mountain in freezing fog and rain. My very first clear memory was of being introduced to Jeb in the pilots lounge and him enthusiastically asking me if I wanted to see the scar on his leg - at that point I had no clue who Jeb was or why he was showing me that scar. How things changed over the years. A bewildering amount of great stories. An unbelievable amount of memories imprinted in my mind of every jump made from that hill. WWL has done an incredible job to keep going without outside sponsorship for so long whilst at the same time improving and progressing not just this event but also helping the sport move forward too. Huge appreciation to Frank and Iiro, James and Jeb and everyone involved for not just keeping it going but for producing something extraordinary.

10th anniversary of WWL. The mountain landscape has changed, the event has changed, the people have changed…. The one thing that remains exactly the same as 2012: it’s a ridiculously beautiful and exhilarating show in an incredible setting. Privileged to have been at all 10 and hoping for another decade. In no particular order - special appreciation and thanks to Frank, James, Jeb, Chuck, David, Sami, Jade, and all the pilots this year who put on a remarkable show of accuracy and speed. Roll on 2025… @jebcorliss@jamesboole@3x7x77@tianmenshan
Back on Tianmenshan again after four years. It’s a long break but some things never change: the event is still as inspired and beautiful as ever. Thank you to all the organizers and to everyone involved in putting on an epic show.
