Last summer in Prague, our “Romeo and Juliet” unfolded beneath centuries-old stone and evening sky. Young love moved through the city’s air like it had always belonged there. Verona felt closer than ever! 💛 There is something about Shakespeare in the open air, in a city that knows history, that makes it all feel so alive! #FlashbackFriday #NYClassical #RomeoAndJuliet #Shakespeare #Prague

A new setting, a timeless story. Our 2025 Prague edition of 𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰 & 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘵 explores love not as a myth—but as something deeply human. ❤️ These behind-the-scenes moments show the heartbeat of the story: the laughter, the nerves, the pause before you open your heart to another. Some places don’t need a balcony—just two people willing to risk honesty. No idea what kind of actor I’d be without him. His plays came along at career turning points, first “Rough Crossing” @metrostage , my first gig out of grad school, then “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” @theactingcompany in rep with “Hamlet”, my first official Equity Off-Broadway contract. Loved all his work so much. Farewell, Sir Tom.
