.
Aadyam Season 8 presents its second play - a vibrant Hindi dramedy directed by Mohit Takalkar.
Adapted into Hindi by @chirag.kaun from the acclaimed ‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone’ by Sarah Ruhl.

The story follows an ordinary girl drawn into an extraordinary world by a single, unexpected phone call. In a time defined by digital noise, one ringing phone sets off a chain of humour, connection, and surprising human truths.

I made some photos of Asehmat, a fun new play by the folks at D For Drama, performed by a bunch of very cool actors and now friends. The play questions ideas of disagreement and the humour of seemingly urgent conversations drifting into multiple sidepaths. Devised by Team D for Drama and directed by Mithil Raj, the play opened earlier this month at Prithvi House, and is the closing play of the D For Drama festival at Rangshila Theatre, today, 29 March, at 8.30pm.
