Chilean-born bassist @iamsimonwillson kicks off Friday night with his quartet featuring @earth_neta (tenor sax), @mostlymidcontent (piano), and @angusmasonplaysthedrums (drums)
Willson released TWO albums on Endectomorph in 2025: ‘Bet: Live at Ornithology’ and ‘Feel Love.’ DownBeat gave Bet ☆☆☆☆ and called it “more than live—it’s vital.” Stereophile praised Willson as “a wicked soloist...His bass is the engine that powers this high-speed ensemble.”
An in-demand sideman who’s worked with artists like Dave Douglas and Ethan Iverson, among others, Willson brings the heat.

Collection of film photos I took in Aylesbury, England. In November I was lucky to be touring with @alexandra.ridout quartet in Europe and England and these are some photos I took of her neighborhood. I went on a couple of long walks in the area and there was barely anyone around apart from cars driving, so you won’t see any people in these pictures lol. Also got very lucky with some beautiful light on one of the days, which was a rarity since it was fairly gray while we were on tour
