No 6 Olusegun Oyeniji street, former Kofoworola Abule egba Awori Bus stop , Lagos, Nigeria
The Joyful Joy Foundation (JJF) sensitizers and mobilizes pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, and men to come out for health education about practices that promote health and well-being, prevent malaria, malaria screening tests, blood pressure, glucose checks, health consultation, and free drugs.
Those who tested positive were given malaria drugs (ACTs) and Treated mosquito nets were given to community members. Additionally, those with other health conditions were given treatment during the outreach and proper referral to a health facility to ensure continuity of care.
At the end of the event, a total number of 96 persons were attended to (31 men /41 Women / 24 children). 52 people tested positive for malaria.
We will continue to ‘Push towards a Malaria Free Africa.’ Big Thanks to the JJF team that have always volunteered their time to make a difference. We aim to #SpreadMoreJoy one community at a time.
Thanks to all the @joyfuljoyfdn volunteers; nurses, doctors, testers, and community coordinator that made this outreach possible. We appreciate you!
