For those of you just getting to know me, I’ma do my best to summarize this quickly 💋
After film and acting school at age 20 I worked as a model and TV presenter in Zurich where I interviewed the likes of Alicia Keys and The Black Eyed Peas. Shortly after I got discovered by a music producer so ended up signing with Sony Music, where I performed my debut single in front of 7000 something people, which is still something that blows my mind, but as it unfortunately often ends up happening in the music industry, the label stopped releasing and I ended up in contractual limbo land for the next two three years, something like that.
To stay sane during that time I grabbed a camera and started photographing and filming my friends. Fast forward to today I run a film and photography production company (
@amorosofilms ) which has funded the production of my own independent music which I feel ready to share with the world very soon.
But during that time and since I also allowed myself to explore other mediums like painting (
@catcouturestudio ), leather jacked painting and customization, spoken word poetry, set design, choreography, even event and exhibition curation, and most recently giving talks, coaching and workshops (
@weareallalikeuk ), which I friggin love! And I’ve also started writing a book, no idea when it will see the light of day so don’t hold your breath but what I’m saying is:
Always feel empowered to do what you feel led to do, and don’t let the can’t and naysayers convince you you have to focus on just one thing in order to achieve success. Do what you feel led to do, execute it with intention and care, determination and with a willingness to learn, and not only are you be able to make a career out of it, you may also find that one medium compliments the other, can even help grow or find the other.
