such a massive highlight to gather our friends and fam for our best set yet 🥰🥰 @whichlight made these incredible interactive video game visuals with lil avatars of us (“Helladeep Love Invaders: overcome the challenges for a long lasting relationship!”)

we went so hard on the AV that 5 fire trucks showed up at the end (everything ok, just a lil smoke from the big screen 😅) truly the one of the most lit nights of my life

WE GOT MARRIED! with a punjabi wedding in Yuba City and a western wedding in Oakland. what we put on together was beyond my imagination, and at the very beginning we knew we wanted to bring our creative selves to it, have a bunch of neon colors, and pull in our friends and family to do it all together.
This was so important to me, and to really feel it I put my whole being into it, into exploring all these collective creative moments within the punjabi traditions, bringing friends and fam together and putting our own spin on it too. it was so creatively intense. Working together became a place of connection, and that sustained effort made everything more meaningful.
During it I felt all these parts of myself coming together — to share the joy of a punjabi dance party with my friends and share my art with my family, and then see everyone celebrating together — it was exhilarating. The week was so magical, and so grateful for our loved ones joining to move through this portal together with helen and i as a married couple.
