Thank you all for your support at the Hazel Dell parade today and keep an eye out for opportunities to donate when we are outside of Fred Meyers this summer! The MDA is an organization the IAFF and local firefighters have partnered with for over 75 years and will continue to raise money to keep the medical research going! @mdaorg

Incident report: Commercial vehicle fire at 1200 W 8th St last night at 20:56.  Vancouver Fire was initially dispatched as a single unit response with a water flow alarm and was upgraded when black smoke and fire were noticed. T1 had to cut the front gate open to gain access to the facility. E1 extinguished the fire in the engine compartment and cab. There was a sprinkler system that activated as the fire department arrived which helped to keep the fire in check. Squad 1 and E2 assisted with suppression efforts and checking for extension. The fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported. #iaff452 #yourlocal #whatshappeningclarkcounty #vancouverfirefighters

Incident report 5/14/26: T1 and E61 were dispatched to an unusual incident on I-5 after a tire detached from a northbound semi truck and struck a southbound minivan. One patient was treated on scene by Vancouver Fire paramedics then transported by AMR with moderate injuries. Incidents like this are a reminder that hazards on the roadway can appear without warning. Thank you to all responding crews for the quick and coordinated response. #yourlocal #iaff452 #vancouverfirefighters #whatshappeningclarkcounty
