The new Hypnotic Funk Mani + 1 Series kicks off tomorrow on @blooplondon from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and I am excited to share I will be going b2b with @redd_ophis ! Redd Ophis meaning “red snake,” co-founded Kollektiv Affair and founded Synthapise, leveraging music for charity. Her name reflects the root chakra’s grounding force and Ophiuchus, the “forgotten 13th zodiac,” symbolised by a snake-bearing man. The red snake represents transformation, shedding old layers while staying rooted, bridging ground and sky to navigate personal and musical evolution. Drawn to raw, deep, and impactful sounds, she merges music with activism, featuring her voice on End Train’s The Day I Didn’t Want to Wake Up, challenging societal conditioning. A career milestone was playing at Fabric in 2024, and she continues to keep challenging herself as an artist and find ways to fuse music with meaningful causes. 😁
