Rewinding time and reflecting on the journey, creating FACELESS has been quite the experience. What began as a seemingly bizarre concept — the intersection of artificial intelligence and art — evolved into a deeply existential piece.
It has truly been an honor to be part of the Unsung Voices program, and I’m incredibly grateful to
@reelasian for this unique opportunity, as well as to the entire Reel Asian team for their support and guidance. A huge thank you to all the amazing people who shared their insights, advice, and expertise during the workshops [

A heartfelt thank you to
@christophersyip for your mentorship, advice, and support [including lots of mental support!] throughout this whole journey! I’m incredibly grateful to my talented cast and crew. Your belief in FACELESS and your dedication to bringing it to life in such an extraordinary way has been nothing short of inspiring.
It’s crazy to think about all the effort, thought, and hard work that so many people have poured into creating something like this. It really changes how you view art — and films, in particular — making you appreciate every. single. shot.
in a whole new way.
I am incredibly grateful to all of you and absolutely thrilled to see everyone at the world premiere of FACELESS on November 16, 2024, at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival!
