In honour of the 5-year anniversary of HXOUSE, we are happy to announce a special edition, 3-part IN-HXOUSE CONVERSATIONS series. This series will celebrate the pillars that have come to life at HXOUSE over the past five years, through creative individuals whose work and ideas are shaping contemporary culture within creative industries and beyond. HXOUSELABS will be joined by @iddrissandu — An entrepreneur born in Ghana and raised in Los Angeles. Iddris has been in the tech industry for over a decade, starting his career as a self-taught programmer at just 13 years old. He went on to consult for some of the largest companies in tech including Google, Twitter, Snapchat, and Meta on future technologies like AR, Spatial Computing, and Immersive Storytelling. At 19, Iddris became the CTO for former American Hip Hop Artist Nipsey Hussle - creating the world's first hip-hop store powered by Augmented Reality and Geofencing technology. Shortly after, Iddris served as head of tech at Kanye West’s YEEZY. In 2019, Iddris founded Spatial Labs - an innovative hardware startup that develops products at the intersection of physical products and digital identity. Spatial Spaces is a technical workshop that will explore the use of Volta’s latest mixed reality software to create new forms of hybrid digital and physical experiences. Participants will learn how to use the Volta software to develop interactive spaces, and will explore how these spaces can coexist to create connected experiences across the real and digital world. SESSION, our most recent @HXOUSELABS workshop, delved into the creative worlds of Chat GPT & Blender! Our Tenants harnessed the power of ChatGPT’s natural language processing in order to more efficiently and effectively work with Blender’s 3D computer graphics software. As a result, we witnessed how our creatives can collaborate with AI to enhance their experience with open-source gems such as Blender, empowering them to craft industry-standard masterpieces without breaking the bank. [PHYS-ED] is a global workshop series hosted by @amberpark + @ceej.vega and curated by PLAY3.WORLD, aimed at inspiring the next generation of creators in today's decentralized creative landscape. This two-day event features a panel discussion, two lessons, and a 6-hour challenge, culminating in a show-and-tell session in front of influential creative entrepreneurs spanning fashion, tech, and music. SESSIONs are free-flowing events where Tenants push the limits of technology, tools, and their skill, while building the HXOUSE LABS community.
