PROJECT HIGHLIGHT |
Plateau House is a collaboration with @hunter_office and @monokrom_design .
A modern cliffside home shaped by its surroundings—forest, ravine, and southern views toward Stawamus Chief—with a softened boundary between interior and exterior.
Lighting draws from the same natural references. In the living space, Muuto Strand pendants introduce a cloud-like presence within the double-height volume. Nearby, the Bocci 73.7 sculptural —mimics the fluid movement of the wind and waters flowing below.
It was an honour to contribute to this project and see it come to light.

Details keep stacking up week by week on our Hummingbird Cabin project. Last week we installed the custom main door built by the talented crew @karmanah_wood_design . We followed up shortly with the build out of the vertical cedar slats and cedar bench.

This project was a really special property with views of #stawanamuschief ,mature trees and a protected creek ravine below. @will_mckeen did an amazing job with all the geotechnical and environmental challenges that came with the property.

#oceanviewhouse was a transformational project for everyone involved. Enduring COVID and taking 5+ years to complete, we were able to take advantage of incremental opportunities to adjust design elements within the build process of the project. The landscape matured, furnishings and fittings could be considered further and detail language evolved. We are incredibly proud of this project and eternally grateful to our patient and trusting clients. Special shout out to Poul Jensen who started as the foundation sub-trade and emerged to take on the construction and project management of the entire build. Couldn’t have achieved this without him!

NEW PROJECT - #FieldHouse
Early schematic design for a repeat client who is settling their family into a wonderful pastoral property. Plenty of sun, privacy and vistas in all directions. Playing with #rancher inspo, hard wearing materials. The project brief is for a 'forever home' for multi-generational living, prioritizing light and outdoor social space for everyone to cook and party!
