“Whistle” 2026 - ‘The Crone’ for @aafxstudio
One of my most favorite looks to have been a part of.
Based off of a concept by @damalto . She was to be super ugly and I really dug getting the opportunity to sculpt the head and hands, as well as run all the foam latex for the appliances and suit with @steve_newburn
Played by @kaliehunternero who is always a pleasure to put through such heavy applications again, as well as some additional contortion stunt work by @flexy_t
This had some really fun forms right up my alley, and I’m excited that it’s finally out. More of her to come!
Sasquatch Sunset” 2024 - AAFX Studio @aafxstudio
The matriarch’s hands. I tried to make these feel between human and chimp forms & skin texture. These were really fun to do, spending a good amount of time on the details.
Old age sculpt finished! Next step is to break it down into pieces by floating the sculpt off the core onto 3 corrective bucks, so the edges here are 90% and will need to be done over again anyways.
“Whistle” 2026 - The Crone’s hands for @aafxstudio
These had to be done QUICK based off of schedule and everything happening at the time.
These took roughly 2.5 days, or less than 15 hours to get worked out and they were a really fun challenge. I love sculpting ugly shit.
Painted gross by @adrianmakesfaces
Something different!
This is a model of the Moose mech from the “Chappie” movie I was given and man, what a challenge.
It was done by WETA rather than a traditional model company, so their assembly instructions left much to be desired🥴. It was a really fun challenge from assembly, to all the tubes and custom work needing wires, and then to paint.
I love the CAT tractor color aesthetic of yellow ochre on tanks, so I went with that to add some color and get away from boring tan, brown or green military style. Aged as something that has been in the field for a little while, while not trying to be too Warhammer about it.
This was fun as shit and I’m happy it’s fiiinally done.
“Shrouds” 2023 for Blackspot FX
***See @blackspotfx page for the final finished bodies
The third and final most fun stage of 3 bodies made for 3 levels of stylized decomposition with some context alrerations.
This one was after all the bloated fluid had left leaving very droopy skin just barely hanging from the skeleton.
Damon Bishop @nomad11 , Monica Pavez @monica__pavez and I spent 2 weeks really working out these unique forms (out of hard clay😓). We all really overlapped and enhanced each other’s forms as we worked in kind of circles and refined the details.

“Shrouds” 2023 for @blackspotfx
HOD : @monica__pavez & @alexandraangermufx
This was the final of 3 stages of bodies that Blackspot’s team put together.
This was my sculpt of the decayed head, but also a head of a body that had been bloated (see previous post) and then regressed with the fluid exiting, leaving the skin stretched and fallen. This one was a fun challenge to find some fun gravity in the drooping.
More to come with the body sculpt that followed.
Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet little man Ridley! 🥺
They told me (more like a warning) to enjoy this time to the fullest because it doesn’t last long. I knew they were right, but not this right.
What’s in a year? It’s hard to put into enough words, but I can say it has so far been everything. All of it. The most rewarding, fulfilling, exhausting, perspective changing life goal achieved!
I’m parenting an incredible being with my best friend, with nothing but things to look forward to in life and years to come. We’re very lucky and we know it.
“All You Need Is Blood” 2020 - @aafxstudio
This was the job that took us out of lockdown. Unfortunately due to delays and timing, everything was handed off for filming. However I was grateful for the work at such an uncertain tumultuous time.
@neilmorrill451 and I sculpted the body with me focusing on the back shell and legs, also doing some big feet I had a lot of fun with.
We just called it “Turtle Zombie”.
“Until Dawn” - 2023 for @aafxstudio
Of course, I finally take part in my first werewolf suit build and it gets cut. Figures.
@pauljonesfx and I spent about 2 weeks on this with most of my parts focused on in the pictures.
It was a fun sculpt, having us collaborate and keep all the scarring and texture forms coherent front and back, even though we had echos of “it’l be covered in hair” throughout.
Well, it happened, and it’s a kickass looking werewolf from the AAFX team with HOD @steve_newburn
