Namba streets are looking exceptionally pimpalicious in the wake of the Concrete Canvas Street Art Tour. Here's a contribution of my own that I'm especially proud of. Full photo dump coming sometime soon.

Monday's Horizon Events were huge, (I think I just talked to different people for something like 12 hours straight) but it was hugely rewarding as well. I love Nambeezy so damn much, and one of the biggest parts of loving Namba is loving Namboureans. What an awesomely eclectic grab bag of humanity. The crust punks and the poets, the skaters and the scenesters. Bush carers and babies and dogs and delight. I love you all. ❤️ Huge thanks to @horizonartfest for having me, and hugest thanks to @gdocs.co for this premium quality documentation of the days shenanigans.
I got a lot going on at the moment. Some would say too much maybe. Nevertheless, i have further widened the scope, as is my wont. In addition to its extant inventory of fabulous wares, VENDOZA will also be playing host to the very first release from my new(ish) band "The EctoKid". It's a collection of 11 or so demos in varying states of polish, that have been gestating in between other projects for a couple of years now. Super, super proud of these songs, and I'll be coming at you with the album release proper, somewhere in the 'not too distant future' but for now - There were exactly 10 Demo copies of The EctoKid album dubbed to cassette tape, and of those only 7 remain available for purchase. If you don't own a device capable of playing tape, then too bad! You wait for the real release like everyone else.

I've worked hard to make the outsides of VENDOZA equal to the work within. And even though the adhesive wrap itself won't be done until Saturday (Last minute steez!), I am very pleased to share the result of my creative efforts. It's an image built out of five different acrylic paintings on plywood cutouts, individually photographed and then composited over a digital collage - Itself made of 15 different Suminagashi prints, which I've been making, and keeping scans of for many years now. I am very pleased with it and I absolutely cannot wait till Saturday, when I'll be able to share pics of the finished product.

Monday is the day hombres! VENDOZA is filling at a rapid rate, and good thing it is too! The advent of @horizonartfest is now scant days away, and the unveiling of my vendable vision not far behind! But even though Horizon proper kicks off on the 1st, the 4th is the day to mark for Nambour town, and it's about a lot more than just #VENDOZA (Hard to believe right?). Plus it's all free! We've got artist markets running from 9 to 3. Street Art tours hosted by myself and the Mighty Midgeasaurs Departing from the @oldambulancestation from 2 till 3. And to close the afternoon/evening in style we've got a whole gaggle of hyper talented wordsmiths from Nambour and the greater Sunshine Coast, with musical accompaniment from the legendary Mr @leehardisty running from 3.30 till 6 (ish). I'm gonna perform a rap about the Moon Stallion. You should come along.

Brace ya'selves for this one Bredrin. Nambour street beast and design maven MIDGE, has emerged from his creative hiatus to share these four super limited Mini Paintings. That's right, I said 4 and only 4. (People have jobs you know!) As with all items appearing in VENDOZA, these are super exclusive and sold on a first come first serve basis. Desperately resisting the urge to buy one myself, which is all just to say - Don't drag your feet on this one! VENDOZA debuts at 9AM, May 4th at the @oldambulancestation as part of this year's @horizonartfest It'll be in situ at the gallery for the full 10 days of Horizon Festival, but I suspect it'll sell out long before.
