ad | We’ve had the World Chair from @humanscale in the space for a while now, and it’s been a really nice upgrade!
It adjusts to you in a way that feels very natural. The recline, the back, everything moves with you without needing to think about it, which makes long hours at the desk feel a lot better.
We also like that it encourages movement rather than fixing you into one position.
And visually, it fits exactly how we want things to feel in our new work setup :)

The home office went from nice-to-have to need-to-have. You want the best chair.
Most office chairs are full of mechanical adjustments. The @humanscale Freedom chair is different—it uses your body weight and physics instead. You sit down, and it moves with you.
Sculptural. Polished aluminum frame, woven fabric. Featured in the Smithsonian.
Your work is an extension of your creativity. The chair should be too. #interiordesign #homedesign #homeoffice
“We don’t need ingredients labels for their products as last time I checked no one eats their furniture.” That’s how a competitor responded to the press on material transparency.
But that argument reduces the issue to ingestion, when we all know exposure is much broader than that.
Furniture shapes the environments we spend our lives in. And those environments directly influence human health. We sit, touch, and breathe around these materials every day. Many of them can offgas chemicals into indoor air over time, often without visibility. And the impact doesn’t stop at the product. It spans the entire lifecycle, from extraction and processing to manufacturing and disposal, affecting both people and the planet along the way.
Responsible design accounts for all of it. After all, we label what we consume. We should label what surrounds us. Furniture should come with clear, honest material disclosure.
Share this if you want to see more transparency in the furniture world.
Your home should support how you actually live.
