(All my friends call me Mir😉)
I’m originally from Boston MA and I’ve been in CHI for about two years! It’s been a ride for sure ! I’ve worked as a wedding baker, bread baker at Aya, pastry chef for Etta, Dinkles cake decorator, Instructor and kitchen lead for @bettieschicago , and a pastry cook at Beity. I’ve done so much in these last few years just in Chicago I can’t wait to see what else the city holds for me.
I love to read, play music maybe too loud, collect also maybe too many knickknacks, play video games, and occasionally get down in the kitchen 😤 I’m all about the 2000’s and wish daily it was 2009. I’m also a Capricorn if that helps 😝

made this beauty for a flirty 30 dinner celebration 🍾🥳she’s a red velvet cake with an Oreo cream filling topped with a cream cheese buttercream. The oh so wonderful Dali of @puppetparfum is letting little ole me announce her new scent in works, Funny Business!! the notes are:
banana, sugared violets
tears, wooden slapstick
whipped cream pie, balloon
To celebrate this creation and the overall achievement of Puppet Parfum I made Dali this cake! -vegan cake batter banana layers, banana custard, salted caramel and vanilla bean Swiss meringue to tie it all together. This cake was for Jackie @nostosworld ! Inspired by the Teen fragrance this cake was vanilla brown butter layers, blood orange soak, passionfruit curd +passionfruit cream- all wrapped in vanilla bean swiss meringue.

Domestica Perfume is formulated and designed in Chicago by Marty Schissler and Alvaro Lozano. In lieu of escapist fantasies, artist and writer Jenny Odell suggests that we “escape laterally” towards each other. Domestica aims to facilitate this kind of lateral escape. To ground you in the mundane happenings of everyday life. To draw your attention to the beauty all around you and inside you.
The event runs from 11am-3pm, so come by to try out these new local perfumes!
