We’re so honoured to share that we received the Environmental Youth Group Award at the Hamilton Environmentalists of the Year Awards 2025 💚🌱
The Hamilton Sustainability Action Project (HSAP) started as a small group of students who wanted to stay involved in sustainability beyond campus. Since then, HSAP has grown into a community where people come together to volunteer, connect, and take action in Hamilton.
This award belongs to everyone who has shown up, supported, and helped build this community with us 🤍
Thank you to our advisor, Kate Whalen, and our nominators Abbie Little and Myles Sergeant, as well as our partners, volunteers, and everyone who has supported HSAP along the way.
Thank you to the Environmentalists of the Year Awards committee for organizing such a meaningful event and for recognizing our team.
A special congratulations to Kate on receiving the Dr. Victor Cecilioni Environmentalist of the Year Award. Your dedication to sustainability continues to inspire us and so many others 💚
Looking forward to what’s next ✨
