Axis Chandelier Dimensions: H48”x W53”x D33” Materials: Silp cast porcelain, welded steel, carved bronze, wired with 13 LED G4 bi-pin socket rated maximum 50W, 24V, dimmable. This sculptural chandelier combines refined ceramic craftsmanship with a modern, architectural silhouette designed for residential and boutique commercial interiors. Thirteen slip-cast porcelain shades are individually carved to diffuse light with a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is constructed on a blackened steel armature with carved and oxidized brass fittings, complemented by a stoneware canopy that lends the piece an artisanal, tactile finish. Each porcelain form is handcrafted, resulting in subtle variations that enhance the fixture’s character without compromising consistency throughout a space. The slip-cast porcelain utilizes a proprietary translucent recipe that we developed to create a self-glazing clay with a satin-white surface and a gentle, warm glow when lit. The overall effect is elegant yet quietly expressive—offering both functional illumination and a statement focal point. Ideal for dining rooms, living spaces, entryways, hospitality environments, and curated retail interiors where crafted materials and soft lighting are a priority. Dimmable LED components ensure compatibility with modern lighting systems, allowing for a tailored atmosphere from day to night.

HQ Object (@hq.object ) is the collaborative studio of Everett Hoffman and John Quick, a partnership that emerged from dating, shared studio spaces, and a mutual obsession with lighting. Everett works in metal fabrication, John in ceramics, and their Egg Cup lamp shows exactly why combining these skills produces something neither could make alone. The lamp started with nine emu eggs John found at a thrift store. After molding them and running test casts, he started carving into the porcelain with diamond tools, exaggerating the natural divots across the shell’s surface. What he didn’t expect was how thinning the walls would increase translucency, suddenly allowing light to pass through in ways the original mold couldn’t predict. We’re drawn to how this partnership functions. Both materials have their limitations, metal struggles with transparency, ceramics with certain structural forms, and watching how they work around these constraints is part of what makes the lamp interesting. The carved texture isn’t decorative for decoration’s sake. It’s John pushing the material to see what happens when you remove more surface than you’re supposed to, discovering that thinner walls let more light escape. The blackened steel base sits underneath like an actual egg cup, which is exactly what it is. The porcelain shade threads onto it with a washer and rod system, straightforward and functional. There’s a small push-button switch at the base. The carved surface catches light differently depending on where you’re standing, which means you keep noticing it throughout the day rather than filing it away as background. What we appreciate most is that this feels like two people genuinely figuring out how to make something together, not just dividing tasks. The lamp works because they’re each solving problems the other can’t.

Zig-zag table lamp currently available through @erria_xyz . The ZigZag reimagines the traditional table lamp with a sculptural, dynamic form. Constructed from welded steel and fitted with hand-cast porcelain shades, this piece embodies the delicate balance between structure and form. The slip-cast porcelain utilizes a proprietary translucent recipe that we developed to create a self-glazing clay with a satin-white surface and a gentle, warm glow when lit.
