Join me on Tuesday, April 28 at @maydayspace from 4-6pm. I will teach two new original dances that I plan to debut at the Rodeo for Reproductive Rights on May 6. As time permits, we'll also practice some song swaps and NYC local favorites.
Dances are Improver level. A basic knowledge of line dance vocabulary will come in handy.

Join us on Thursday, April 2 for a line dancing party benefitting a family navigating the realities of life in Gaza. Dalal, her husband, their two sons, and their friends and neighbors will use these funds for food, tent materials, medicine, clothing, school supplies, and more.
The first $300 raised at this event goes back to Bushwick community via @maydayspace . Everything raised over that amount will go directly to Dalal.

Join me for a celebration of reproductive freedom and country dance, benefitting the incredible work of @alabamacohosh ! ACC is a grassroots organization operating in Madison County, Alabama. They support patients in accessing reproductive care of all types and administer the Dr. Yashica Robinson Black Student Midwife Fund, dedicated to growing the number of Black midwives in Alabama.
Their work is centered in the Black feminist framework of reproductive justice and their mission is to meet all reproductive health choices with kindness, generosity, empathy, and skillful care.
The glorious @maydayspace , a community center in Brooklyn, is once again our gracious host for the Rodeo.

✨ new dance alert ✨ I am looking for dancers who are willing to learn a brand-new dance (or two) from a brand-new choreographer (me).
I believe the choreography is Improver-level (between beginner and intermediate). If you have an intrepid heart and some sense of dance vocabulary, this should be accessible for you! I can’t wait to share this choreo with the world and think we’ll have a lot of fun learning and practicing.

There are plenty of line dance sub-styles and niches in the RHIZOME that is the New York City line dance scene. I often wonder if the far-right can actually imagine how queer, radical, and joyful we can be. I’m pretty sure they can’t, because this represents a resiliency and grace of spirit that their politics don’t allow.
Wherever two or more are gathered, transformation and change is possible through collective action.
