This month marks 8 years of my most enduring and certainly most heartfelt project, Pop Show. A radio program that
@n10.as took a chance on in early 2017, Pop Show has been a regular catalogue of everything in my life—the passage of time, change, feelings, politics, love, pain, heartbreak, memory, crushes, loss, death, fixation, frustration, relationships, jokes, sex, language, experiences, sound, haunting, dreams, newness, pleasure, travel, emotional moves big and small, etc. It’s important to give yourself something to do over and over again. A warm hug and kiss to all of the tireless volunteers who keep the lights on and things running as well as they do at the station. You make this possible.
Thank you to everyone who has listened and continues to listen, to my dear collaborators on special episodes, to my friends and family who have joined me for rare in-studio recordings, and to all who have ever hopped in the chat. I love you all. This month I will be playing songs about LA, my heart and home. Thank you.
Our ninth year begins with a new airtime: the fourth Thursday of the month at noon PST/3pm EST. Please tune in tomorrow 1/23 on n10.as.
