Last but not least.. Before we gather tomorrow to celebrate, we present to you N10.AS’s first ever compilation record, released via @arbutusrecords and available now on Bandcamp. We’ll also have a limited run of cassette tapes offered as one of our donation incentives until the end of the month and while supplies last. For the past decade, N10.AS has been a hub for DJs and artists to share the likes of house to hardcore and so much in between. Only 1 entry per person :) Winner will be announced next week! 🗣🎙 Tune into n10.as radio TONIGHT to catch Elle Barbara talk about the anticipated show and play songs off the acclaimed album, Word on the Street. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ Introducing One Man Show, a one-off spectacle by one of Montreal’s underground cultural icons, Elle Barbara. The interdisciplinary concert will take place at Théâtre Outremont on May 22 at 8:00 p.m. Following the artist’s success at the Festival TransAmériques in 2025, the artist will perform, among other works, songs from Word On the Street, under the directorial eye of American choreographer Raja Feather Kelly. One Man Show is a theatrical journey into Elle Barbara’s personal and intellectual world, providing a rare glimpse into the artist’s catalogue, notably with tracks from her latest album Word on the Street. The show’s title serves as a direct reference to Jamaican singer Grace Jones's 1981 A One Man Show tour. This nod signals both connection and intention, as One Man Show blends concert and theatrical performance to create a space for reinvention, glamour and cultural resistance. The concept album Word On the Street, released in June 2025, was quietly acclaimed by critics upon its release and counts among its admirers the daily newspaper Le Devoir and the British monthly Uncut.
