@locavorenxt second publication, ‘Localised Rebellion Vol. II – Habitat Issue’, explores its immediate surroundings, reflecting on habitat as defined by its people, communities, and ideas. NXT follows this natural direction, using it as both compass and guide. By sharing its antics, we hope to inspire you to see that ‘doing good’ isn’t a constraint—it’s an opportunity.

The cover for @locavorenxt Bookazine: ‘Localised Rebellion Vol. II – Habitat Issue’ is inspired by the traditional technique of anyaman. The colourful, tactile cover celebrates diversity, locality, and the beauty of things woven together.
In collaboration with @agency_x_ , we experimented with @yohanliliyani photographs using petai—a humble kitchen ingredient—alongside wild local flowers. The image was printed twice, cut into strips, and woven back together by hand in a process called photo weaving. Although it originates from the same photograph, the act of weaving and crossing the strips creates an entirely new visual composition.
This process reflects the spirit of Locavore — a place where many stories, ingredients, and perspectives come together, all rooted in the same habitat.

The Heritage Gallery at @sakamuseum , Ayana Resort Jimbaran, carries the theme of Panca Maha Bhuta — the Five Great Elements: Pertiwi (Earth), Apah (Water), Teja (Fire), Bayu (Air), and Akasa (Ether). In Balinese belief, these are not just symbols, but living forces that shape how we move, feel, and connect. ✨
Guided by Tri Angga and Tri Loka, the gallery unfolds in three sections:
1. Information Space — a place of knowledge
2. Main Gallery — an eye-opening journey
3. Akasa — a sacred, contemplative space
Together with curators Bruce W. Carpenter & James Bennett, our team contributed architectural design (223 sqm) and visual communication design, shaping a space that honors heritage while inviting new stories to unfold.

As our people face crisis after crisis, we wanted to turn frustration into action through art. Together with friends, we designed posters for screen printing—a medium chosen for its accessibility and power to spread.
By printing on secondhand clothes and tote bags, everyone gets to create and carry their own piece—a reminder that resistance can be worn, shared, and multiplied.
