We were honored to open our doors for the Give to Gain Fashion Show + Clothing Drive, an incredible afternoon supporting Dress for Success Calgary. Seeing our lobby and event spaces filled with over 100 hospitality leaders and partners from Calgary’s tourism community was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
Supporting an organization that helps women navigate their "next great chapter" aligns perfectly with our mission to provide more than just a stay, but a community. Together, we filled more than two cars with donations and raised vital funds to lift women up.
A massive thank you to our fierce models (including our very own GM, Jeanette) and our partners at the Calgary Hotel Association and Tourism Calgary for putting on such a wonderful event for International Women's Day!
Checker Cabs attended a fantastic fashion show in support of International Women’s Day, hosted by @tourismcalgary , @hotelsofyyc_cha and @makingchangesyyc .
Held inside the beautiful @thewestleyhotel , the event brought great energy as models took to the catwalk and a full room of guests came out to support the cause. It was a well attended afternoon filled with style, community and a lot of positive spirit.
A terrific day all around. Huge thanks to everyone involved in putting together such a great event.
