🤩 Our WIT students explored the Design Thinking Process through the Wallet Design Challenge, guided by Shalzah Visram, WIT Program Manager.
👛 Through empathy interviews, collaboration, and rapid prototyping, students created personalized wallet prototypes inspired by real user needs and experiences.
💡 The activity introduced students to the power of human-centered design, creative problem-solving, and innovation in action as they continue building skills for careers in tech.

🌞 This summer, teen girls can discover their strength through the GREAT Program.
💛 GREAT (Girls’ Resilience, Empowerment, and Transformation) is a supportive space where girls ages 13–16 can build confidence, connect with others, and grow through leadership and personal development activities.
🌟 Over the course of one week, participants will explore resilience, self-confidence, emotional growth, and authentic relationships in a safe and welcoming environment.

💻 Our WIT cohort had the opportunity to learn from Ashley Reaburn and Chiamaka (Chichi) Achebe from Accenture during a workshop focused on Imposter Syndrome.
🧠 Through honest conversations and practical insights, participants explored how self-doubt can show up in professional environments, especially when entering the tech industry or navigating new opportunities.
🤝 The session encouraged reflection, open conversations, and the importance of continuing to grow professional networks while preparing for careers in tech.

🤩 On Wednesday, May 6, we received two full truckloads of clothing from GWL Realty Advisors in support of Making Changes Association and Dress for Success Calgary.
👗 This large clothing drive will directly support women preparing for interviews, entering the workforce, and taking the next step in their careers.
📦 The GWL Realty Advisors team also took the time to sort and organize the donations before delivery, helping ensure the items could quickly reach the organizations and communities that need them most.
