Hot Mess Studio

A collaboration between C Us, Hotmess Studio and me for @canyoujigit Amsterdam that brought Lure and Taroportal 1.0 to life. 𝓛𝓾𝓻𝓮 (1-5) is a site of gathering of comfort and reflection, inviting bodies to sink, to linger, to listen where light and comfort interlace. In collaboration with @etherealmatter.studio 𝓣𝓪𝓻𝓸𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝟏.𝟎 (6-10) is the first threshold into the universe of Jigit. Each record released by the label carries a pair of tarot cards. Not replicas of the traditional deck, but reinterpretations born from the stories of the musicians themselves weaving the mythology of Jigit into a new cosmic system of meaning. For the Amsterdam showcase, the tarot became a prismatic passageway. Version 1.0 marks the opening of that continuum: a portal in motion. We @camille.isabela , @nairodeone , @mynameisanouk , met at Horst Atelier and somehow, instantly, we became a we. Three people, one brain cell, and a shared need to build spaces where strangers turn into communities and communities turn into worlds.  We come from different corners: architecture, scenography, sustainability: an Hotmess. And when it all collides, something clicks. We repurpose, we rebuild, we reshape. We argue about light angles and fabric tension. We carry too many beams at once. We stay up late sketching, and even later dancing. Hot Mess is not about perfection: it’s about togetherness. Holding space, making space, transforming space. Using what we have, building what we feel, and letting the people make it warm, messy and one. Three voices, one studio. A little chaotic. Very intentional.
