SÍM Residency artist-in-residence Thomas Udomrat Hostrup (He/Him), Denmark /thomashostrup @hostrupthomas Residency period: April-May 2026 Thomas Udomrat Hostrup's (b. 1990), is a Danish artist who works out of Copenhagen. He works with installations and sculpture, that revolves around relations with technology and reality, like a waxing and waning motion, like a wave and the ocean, one informs the other. He uses fiction through realism, pulling from sci-fi literature, science and philosophy, with a dose of punk. With works made to speak with its own concepts internally but also creating and oscillating relation between the viewer and and the works themselves.
