Our final release of 2025 is here, our annual collaboration with the students of @ncad_dublin Each year, NCAD students take part in a design competition, with the winning artwork featured on our end-of-year label. This year’s winning student is Laurynas Butkus @hhumanworks , with the stunning piece titled Snowboard. We instantly felt in love with the colour palette and the way it blends winter vibes with bold, playful tones, a perfect fit for this release. Laurynas is a Lithuanian illustrator and artist whose work is driven by connection, storytelling, and deep human emotion. Through a variety of styles, his passion for creating meaningful, shareable experiences continues to inspire, making Snowboard a natural choice for this collaboration. And now, the beer is officially out in the wild. The Beer Snowboard is a highly drinkable 5.1% New England Pale Ale. On the nose, bright citrus leads the way , orange zest and lemon peel, followed by bursts of stone fruit: pear, apricot, and a subtle hint of cherry from Rakau hops. Light earthy pine and resin notes round out the aromatics, beautifully complementing the vibrant fruit character. On the palate, juicy citrus and soft tropical fruit take centre stage, flowing into gentle peach and pear notes. Mid-sip, a subtle yet confident piney bitterness brings balance and structure, keeping the beer clean and refreshing. The finish is dry, snappy, and pleasantly lingering. A huge thank you to lecturer John Slade, the NCAD team, and all the students involved in this fantastic project. We’re proud to continue this collaboration and can’t wait to see what next year brings. Cheers!

This creative project challenged students to design artwork for a special winter brew, set to launch this December. 🍺🎨 From an array of imaginative submissions, our team carefully selected one standout illustration to feature on this exclusive release. The beer will soon make its way across the country (and beyond) until every last drop is savored. The theme: Anything that captures the magic of winter, the festive season, or the start of a new year—without leaning on traditional Christmas clichés like Santa Claus.
