this cafe closing is a huge knock to the community of ballymun after years upon years of neglect and lies upon lies being told to us absolutely unacceptable that we would lose a vital surviving piece of what was once the heart of ballymun. turned into a student accommodation, a lidl where they sell you poison for nothing and an ipas centre. no support for locals, no care for the history of neglect, no thought for a community that has stood up against any and all economic hardship this nation has gone through since the flats were built till now. I will be up there on wednesday morning meself and I would implore as many as can come on wednesday morning to show face and show them how important the cafe is and how important ballymun is in the broader scheme to normal regular every day people. compound that with the fact they've made known plans to build new four stories in ballymun we've done a complete full circle and quality of life people has only dropped with guns being found left right and centre, shots being rang off and on top of that business ran by locals and owned by locals are squeezed out of the area slowly and painfully as every year goes on. replaced with faceless global execs who are only in ireland to extract wealth and while they complete that task people are starved out of house and home 👍 @sinn_fein@people_before_profit@finegael whoever just someone sort ballymun out I know we don't vote but jayzis 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

i was listening to @loylecarner@jrakz and @kokorokomusic coming home from hanging around in car parks in finglas out of me mallet when everyone thought i was in school. music has taken us so very far to be hopping on a stage with people who are leaders in their fields the world over and who have left people with so much classic beautiful music! have become a huge @kofistone_ fan over the years of playing aswell!
