Throwback to one of the coolest rides I've ever been on. Grinding up Mt. Lemmon for 2.5 hours and then zipping down in under an hour was a wild ride.
And as always, I had my @roka_stndrd_racing short-course buddy beside me. Suffering is more enjoyable when you have a teammate to share it with!

2025 Armed Forces Triathlon Championship was another one for the books. New race location, new team members, new competitors, new challenges, lots of returning friends, same goal.
I fortunately crossed the finish 1st Overall for the 8th time, extending the individual title record 🏆
I could not have done this without the incredible lead out swim by @greenhalgh_andy it was fantastic!
The bike course was tough but helped keep the draft packs behind me.
The run started out as a neck and neck race. @markr0mano pushed the pace from the start and I was fortunate to have the strength to push hard to the finish.
@karawrrrrrrr was holding down the house with the 2 kiddos, couldn’t do any of this without her continuous support, love you.

This past Saturday was the 2024 Age Group National Olympic Distance Championship by @usatriathlon
I had no idea that I finished 1st Overall until I hit that finish line. The feeling was surprising and surreal after going all out the entire race and hearing the result as I crossed.
The race was incredible. Swim in a protected inlet, flat and fast bike course, and a boardwalk run with music and fans the entire length. The sand trap wasn’t the best but I’ll take it with the end result.
This season has been amazing and I am incredibly proud of the results I have accomplished. I wouldn’t be here without the support of @karawrrrrrrr and the family, thank you!
