I’ve been a huge Twilight fan since I first picked up the books at 14, went to all the midnight premieres for both the books and movies, so it feels very full-circle that I got to end my time at @teenvogue working on a shoot at the Swan house 🥹
Not to be dramatic, but this was truly a teenage dream come true and I’m so grateful I got to be here with people that love the fandom as much as I do 🥰🍎❤️ Thank you thank you thank you @emilyzirimis and the @teenvogue team for making this happen and @twilightswanhouse for having us!!✨
After 4 years, my time at @teenvogue has come to an end 😭💖
I’m so, so grateful for my time here and being a part of a team full of smart, funny, thoughtful people. Teen Vogue meant SO MUCH to me when I was a teen, and I’d like to think 14 year old me is proud of everything I’ve accomplished while working here. Sad that this chapter is ending, but excited for what’s next! ✨✨✨✨🥳
For @teenvogue ’s new community-focused series “Group Project,” I wrote about Polynesian dance communities and how young people are keeping the culture alive 💗 Dancing is an integral part of Polynesian culture and I’m so honored to be able to write about this and share more of our culture and stories with the world.
Thank you @bryson.nihipali , @courtneymesiii , @meli.tia5 , Kaile, @felisha.suataute , and @tiana_nonosina for trusting me with your stories and the iconic @bmac0192 for putting this entire series together, your thoughtful edits, and your deadline flexibility (lol)
