Hosted by @fauxewashere , we are experimenting with a new programme built on the intention of creating an audience for Beats, Sampling music from SEA & Music Production. Come witness and be part of the process — Listen, Create & Share.
7.30 - 8pm: Listening Session — a compilation of old and new from South-East Asia
8 - 9.30pm: Beat Making Session — Host will be creating as many beats as possible sampling the music we just heard
9.30 - 10pm: Sharing the beats made as a listening session to round up the experiences
This is open to everyone and anyone who is interested in music of SEA. Even if you aint a beatmaker, you are welcome to join. We are also open to vocalists, rappers, musicians to come through. Come through hang out and catch a vibe. 🎤
Feel free to bring your own gear/computer to make beats while you enjoy your coffee/pizzas as well – we will add your beats to the listening sessions too 🌾
Tickets at the door are $23 inclusive of one drink ❤️

In ode to his phenomenal work — here’s a flip of his latest release “Past Lives”
On the 22nd of June 2024, we decided to travel out from our environment to showcase not necessarily music that just represents us — but I’d like to believe was merely important in taking a step forward as an idea that was birthed almost 4 years ago.
We’ve both known of @gebbbo & @failtrylagi for a few years now and became closer through the programmes we’d run both during covid and post-covid days.
I think personally — it was great to see people of all walks of life come together in one space.
It was great that we got to showcase simple ideas that also could transcend prior motives.
Even the ending, a piece we call “Silent Peace” was an idea-in-progress right up till the last minute.
Whatever happened, happened. & we would like to thank each and everyone of you for showing up and being present with us.
It’s interesting to note that the things we do aren’t a part of some grand scheme of things — but best believe that we are always thinking ahead and allowing both our professional and artistic lives to coincide with this.

【6/22】 UltraSound presents: School of Altruism, featuring Sp8cefish, gebbo, failtrylagi & Fauxe
UltraSuperNew Gallery Singapore is pleased to present a performance showcase by experimental community, School of Altruism.
In this showcase, multi-hyphenate artist-musicians Fauxe, Sp8cefish, gebbo and failtrylagi bring their kaleidoscopic, genre-bending sounds and inimitable energy to a gallery context for the first time. Audiences can not only expect a lush, eclectic blend of live and electronic sounds and experimental rap, but a performance that playfully de- and re-constructs our preconceived ideas about what a gig or concert is.
This showcase is part of UltraSound, a contemporary performance and gathering programme at UltraSuperNew Gallery Singapore. Tickets include delicious light beers (free-flow) on the house, thanks to Heineken Silver.
