For those who have been asking when they can see me play again… 🎻 Saturday 9 May will be Adelaide’s debut AC/DC⚡️concert for Fever Candlelight with The Collective String Quartet 🕯️ Also catch the epic Queen show the same night- shows 6.30 and 8.30pm at St Peter’s Cathedral. I probably won’t be wearing my shirt on my head, and probably won’t have glow sticks in my hair because we’ll have thousands of twinkly candles, but I will DEFINITELY be pulling a face like this. Follow the comments for a link to tickets. #fevercandlelightconcerts #livemusicadelaide #acdc #hollybennettviolin

An amazing night of music with @joshgroban A privilege to lead The Metropolitan Orchestra at our Thebby Theatre. Such a joy to have beautifully written solos to play for the occasion. Being a violinist is awesome 🤩 🎻 🥰 #orchestrasouthaustralia #violinadelaide #livemusicadelaide #thegodfather

I know I technically remember a life without scrolling, but I’m thinking that neurologically I don’t. And that’s got me wondering on the ever fascinating broad topic of neuroplasticity. As most of you would know, the last years of life brought endless challenges and loss at the heart of my inner worlds, family, love and home. The beautiful thing I know now, is that life regrows with enough self discipline, courage, support and patience… and some sprinkles of luck meeting a gorgeous person 😉🥰 But what I’m really really wondering, is… Prior to the last decade of my life, what moments and things I used to enjoy in curiosity with creative thinking or output have been replaced by the digital concept of the same seeking, but without tangible involvement or connection? And what does it do to my brain if it isn’t there at all? The answer, I’m not sure and I’m curious to know. So, for the next month I won’t be scrolling on any social media, because I want to know what I have time to do and what I find in that space- even if it’s just looking at the sky when I have coffee. See you on the flip side with an answer and I’ll catch up on all your proud posted moments then…
