We were so close to be doing it all again and allowing Solo’s scope to shine through on Saturday. However at 17 years young it isn’t meant to be!! Therefore we will regrettably be withdrawing from Badminton Horse Trials.
I’m sorry to my wonderful supportive owners @bodenham216 , @jan_bod._ and @emily.bots , we couldn’t just quite get there but it rests easy knowing that he is a very happy boy eating lovely fresh grass in his field tonight.
I feel for my team who have gone above and beyond looking after Freddie, working so tirelessly especially these last few months! I know how excited you were for us to be there.
Everyone’s nerves can stay at bay on Saturday morning now and we will be wishing everyone a fabulous 2026 Badminton especially our kiwi’s who we will be cheering on!!
