For 21 weeks starting mid-June members come to the farm to pick out their share of the daily harvest. We are a choice-based CSA which means you only leave with the produce that you want! 🧄What shares do you offer? We offer full, half, and PYO shares that members can combine to meet their household’s needs. Half and full shares consist of produce that we harvested from the fields like greens, potatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, tomatoes, summer squash, etc. PYO shares are picked by members and consist of speciality crops like flowers, herbs, cherry tomatoes, berries, etc. Members can choose whichever membership(s) meet their needs! 🥒Are you certified organic? No we aren’t certified organic but our growing practices go beyond organic certification. We describe ourselves as holistically grown because we rely on farming practices that focus on soil, plant, and human health. That means we never use chemicals (even the organic ones), we cover crop, mulch, inoculate, amend, rest, and compost our fields. Join us for an engaging, beginner-friendly workshop, where you will learn the essentials of growing shiitake mushrooms. Andy from RMS Growers will teach you how to inoculate and grow your own mushroom log to bring home and get tips for maintaining healthy, productive mushrooms. Interested in growing shiitakes, but not the workshop? We will have pre-inoculated logs for sale at our Plant Sale and if you can’t come to the Plant Sale, rest assured, we will be stocking, freshly harvested shiitakes in the Farm Store all summer long! Fog machine or steam from microbial activity in the leaf mulch? 🤔🦠🪱 Definitely the latter! We spent the morning mulching and planting new PYO raspberry beds. These beds first got a layer of biochar spread across them, then mulched, then planted. Fava house makeover! At the beginning of the spring crew dug out the walkways of this greenhouse to make room for a round of woodchips. Tough and rocky work but worth it because the woodchip refresh adds to the growing fungal bank of the greenhouse soil. Big week on the farm! One might say that this week was the first real week of the 2026 season. This was the first full week with Kim, Mckean, and Danovan! Woohoo! We were so happy to welcome them back to their second home! Our productivity has tripled with them being back and this week we planted all of our onions, PYO peas, and the first round of kale, fennel, lettuce, collards, cabbage, and more! Before we know it we’ll be out there harvesting. The seedlings for the first plant sale are nice and healthy! We have tons of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, herbs, greens, flowers, and more to set you up for success this summer. First plant sale is Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th!
