Hoy abrimos el telón de discorama, con un hallazgo que rescaté entre mis vinilos: uno de esos tracks que, aunque no sea un estreno absoluto, tiene la temperatura justa para encender este episodio.
Se trata de "Feel Like Dancing", una colaboración entre el productor italiano Gianni Bini (@hogstudio o) y la cantante Kim Summerson (@summersonkim ). Bini es un verdadero artesano del ritmo que opera desde su estudio llamado House of Glass en la Toscana italiana. Es el arquitecto detrás de proyectos fundamentales como Fathers of Sound y ha dejado su huella remixando a figuras como Jamiroquai y Whitney Houston.
La cantante es Kim Summerson, una de las grandes voces del R&B de Chicago y, a mediados de los 90, fue la estrella del catálogo del sello Aftermath.
Este tema está editado bajo el sello Groove Culture (@grooveculturem ) en 2024, y es una pieza impecable de Nu-Disco y Soulful House, tiene cuerpo, es orgánica y sofisticada, ideal para dejar que la noche de Buenos Aires se vuelva mucho más vibrante.

The duo step up first, with a little help from Giani Bini and vocalist Angela Johnson to drop the horn-toting, soulful disco-house joy of 'In The Stone', before Ralph Session and DJ Funk drop the more thickset, walking bass-propelled disco-goes-house heaviness of 'Let The Rhythm (Guide Us)'. Memi P and Giselle Jackson's 'Make It My Own' is a superb chunk of disco-laced soulful house excellence, while DJ Passion and George Jackson deliver a fine 'UK Mix' of Audiowhores and Angela Johnson's piano-powered 'Touch The Ground'.
