A busy yet restful and joyful holiday season back in Nairobi with this talented and fast growing boy and the wider family… just what my heart and mind needed after a very challenging but important 2025 - reminded me to be grateful for life, time and energy! So 2026 - let’s do this!

The G20 can help African countries strengthen debt transparency and ensure that creditors participate in reconciling debt data.
Debt sustainability analysis should be improved to better distinguish between liquidity and solvency issues, account for new external and domestic debt, and reflect sovereign net worth.

As world leaders gather for #COP30, our CEO @hmryder joined @trtworld to spotlight Africa’s climate priorities.
African nations are ready, aiming to increase renewable energy fivefold in five years.
But progress is held back by one thing: money.
Wealthy countries are providing only a tenth of what’s needed for climate adaptation.
As Hannah said, “The math is really not mathing.”
Africa’s ambition deserves real climate finance.

In 2016, African Union member states agreed that they would issue AU passports to all African citizens. In reality, it started with diplomatic passports and few have been issued so far. Dr Dlamini-Zuma is really pressing to make progress on this issue, even though she has left formal public service. Rightly so… how can goods - trade - cross borders without people? Yes, we have e-commerce now but realistically, we still need people to move #migration #africanunion #integration.
Every founder has a “why” 💭
For our CEO, it began with one big question: what can Africa learn from China’s growth story?
That question sparked the birth of Development Reimagined, a consultancy built to empower Africa to grow faster, smarter, and more sustainably through trade, investment, and partnerships that keep African development at the centre.
This is what reimagining development looks like ✨

“Africa’s story of financial innovation is just beginning and the world should be paying attention.” 🌍💡
From mobile money to diaspora bonds, African markets are redefining what inclusive finance looks like and showing how global investment can fuel resilience and prosperity.
Our CEO @hmryder shared these insights at the ‘Rethinking Development Finance for Africa’ panel on the sidelines of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸
Proud moment for us at #UNGA80 💚
Our CEO, @hmryder , moderated a high-level panel at #UnstoppableAfrica2025, shifting the conversation from external expectations to Africa’s own priorities and exploring how business can unlock the full potential of South-South alliances. 🌍✨
