Wasson! The world tour continues! I know what you're thinking isn't that that person who used to work in that coffee shop??? Yes! It's me and I've returned my lands end of writing to read aloud to a crowd amongst whom I dwelt for many a year.

Here are some parts of some poems that make up the Collecting Poetry course I'll be running at @ncwacademy this September. Slide 5 is the Quiet music of Victoria Adukwei Bulley. Slide 4 is the Odes of Sharon Olds recollecting the parts of her body. Slide 3 is Audre Lorde considering all the things a books of poems could be like maybe a fan or a doorstop or a straight edge or shredded paper. Slide 2 is THE collector of words across languages extraordinaire i.e. camouflage shoecollage, Anne Tardos. And Slide 1 is the person whose work I have never not referenced, Eileen Myles reminding us of the key conceit of this course: Listen to ALL your voices now.
I'd love it if you came along to this course. It'll be Monday nights for 6 weeks starting on the 2nd September. It'll cost you £180 or £150 on concessions and they can offer payment plans so reach out and ask because of u don't ask u don't get. And it'll be a group of us reading as much poetry as possible and writing as much poetry as possible within that six weeks and me there amongst the group supporting you through that. Writers of all forms should come along, interest in line breaks is not mandatory. I can't think of a better way to spend each Monday of September so come catch the last of the evening light with me.

The world tour continues as I walk roughly 15 minutes to the Norwich Book Hive to launch Greasepaint into my local town like a clown launching a cream pie into the face of another clown. Cram your small cars full of all your mates and pile outta there and into your neighborhood bookshop to hear me read from what the EDP are calling 'a book by a local author'!
