Studio Beaumont, once a functioning industrial building, is now a creative home for an assortment of artists and designers. After a period of vacancy, the building has been slowly repopulated, each person transforming the spaces into studios for their different needs. The tenants are neither an organization or collective, but instead neighbours sharing walls, tools, and ideas; cooperating to maintain one of the few remaining affordable spaces for independent practices in Montreal.

OBLSK-L02
The body made from found concrete, a former structure, which was then outfitted with futurist and cleanly machined metal and electronic components. The result is a sculptural object, retrofitted into utility, that feels rooted in science fiction.
